Church of Agia Zoni & St. Nicholas in Dafnes

Oldest is the extended nave of St. Nicholas which was built on the ruins of an older Church of St. George and Mary, as evidenced in his Turkish translation Heraklion file (no 857/1685) according to information, during the revolution against the Turks in 1866, the village was looted and burned down the Temple of Agia Zoni.
