The area between Mount Giouchtas and Prophet Elias.
From the ancient city remains merely the name of the settlement that meets for the first time in 1212 as a property of the monastery of Panagia of Sina. Site which today is believed located west of Giouhtas, 2 km. by kanli Kastelli (Prophet Elias) and 300 m. from the 'Temenos', to the NORTHEAST.
Agios Antonios Area.
The area around the Saint Anthony appears to have been inhabited already in prehistoric times, and continued to be an attraction and in subsequent historical years. The ancient habitation and suggests the ancient name of the region.
Profitis Ilias - Venerato Region
Arthur Evans in the early 20th century, buildings and relics relics discovered tombs near the ruined Tower and village next to a heat source, such as States. The tombs contained earthen urns and other artifacts, such as beads of carnelian, amethyst and faience, which date back to the LM I period, while according to the same from here was passing by the ancient Minoan road connecting the North Island with the South.
