CHURCH OF PANAGIA OKTORISSA
Panagia Oktorissa, another type of one-Aisled Church of "dromikos kamaroskepastos", located a short distance west of the monastery of Palianis and belongs to the jurisdiction of the monastery.
According to the locals the name due to the fact that celebrates on September 8 (Virgin's birthday), while according to Gerola in the tradition wants the Church to be built within 8 hours. In the recording of the Forms indicated that the Temple saved embedded sections with relief decoration, like a frieze with relief decoration cross prominent among foliage and a plate with knitted and cross with constantinata of the Venetian period. The temple was restored according to wall inscription in 1970.
